The US-80 is a high-performance duty holster designed for law-enforcement professionals carrying pistols with both red-dot optics and rail-mounted lights. Combining the SRH Safety Retention Hood™ and LAP™ (Lower Alignment Protector), it delivers secure Level 2 retention, smooth one-motion draw, and full compatibility with today’s leading weapon-light and optic systems.

SRH Retention System

  • SRH Safety Retention Hood™ — self-rotating hood with integrated lock; press down and rotate forward for a natural, single-motion draw.
  • Adjustable tension screw — fine-tune passive friction retention to match duty requirements or personal preference.

The holster is well made, sturdy and fits the gun well. I like the RDS guard on the top due to its simplicity and functionality. The belt attachment is sturdy and well made. I would like to see the same holster offered with a alternative retention system. I am personally not a fan of the rotating hood; however, this feature is also well made.

Holster is thick and sturdy. I have not used a hood In years and it is very slow. At times the red dot clips the hood if it doesn't fall open completely.

I am switching from a 92FS to a 92X RDO, but was having difficulty finding a good holster option. I found US Duty Gear on Langdon Tactical's website as they make a holster for Langdon's 92 Elite RDO. I contacted US Duty Gear and they confirmed the 92X RDO would fit. The gun fits perfectly with the Trijicon RMR and a Surefire X300. The quality is what would be expected from a name brand holster. I would not hesitate to purchase from US Duty Gear in the future.

This holster is top tier. Running a gun like a LTT Elite 92G with a dot and light males it difficult to find a quality duty style holster. US Duty Gear provides the best option I've been able to find. On par with safariland. My only complaint is not having a level 3 option from US Duty Gear for the LTT.

USDG nailed the design of the US-80. The US-80 is a product improved version of the 6280; straight drop, minimal suede lining, and RDS compatible. Retention is excellent, and the draw is fast. The only change I would make is to build the holster to fully cover the larger red dots like the Aimpoint ACRO. Open emitter sights, like the RMR, are fully covered. The ACRO is slightly exposed. This is not an issue, just my personal preference is to cover the optic fully to protect from impacts and going prone.

I'm happy that US Duty Gear makes this holster, since I'm going retro these days and nobody else makes a light compatible duty holster for a Beretta 92X. It would be nice to have a L3 option or something that is a bit more secure from a gun grab from the rear, but otherwise I'm very happy with this one.

This is an excellent quality and well fitting duty holster!!! I have a Beretta 92X RDO with an RMR and X300U for duty carry. I would highly recommend this holster for anyone carrying a 92. This holster will also fit a 92X Compact or Centurion model also. It WILL NOT fit a standard size 4.9" barrel. This fits the fullsize Elite or any size 92X with the OEM 4.7" barrel.

You cannot beat this holster for the price. The quality is great. I now have two for my two different optic pistols and they are both my new favorite holsters. The hood operates smoothly and they have a great draw/reholstering feel. My guns fit in very well and the adjustment screw does a good job of changing how tight or loose the pistol will sit in the holster. I was recommended by my weapons training unit to get this instead of a different company that is much more prominent in the duty holster world, and I am very satisfied with what I have gotten. It took me just over a month to receive my holsters, but I am left handed so I'm not sure if that had any effect. The only suggestion I have a way to quickly detach a holster to swap between belts, or different holsters on the same belt. Other than that, I recommend U.S. Duty Gear without reservation.

The retention is super secure, and the fit for my Glock 17 with light and RDS is perfect. Draw is smooth once you get used to the hood system. Feels built to last—worth every penny.
